Teledyne FLIR Defence were on hand throughout Paris Air Show 2023 to showcase their full line of capabilities for a variety of global markets, including imaging, electronics and aerospace.

Kety Frachey, Business Development Europe & Africa, told FINN, “For the aerospace industry, we are very well positioned in a multiple variety of markets in Europe and internationally. We serve different customers from OEM, integrators and of course end users. We normally build long-term partnerships – we are not just suppliers to our customers, we like building with them a relationship that lasts for a long time to understand their needs and serve them in the best possible way.”

Industry connections

The Paris Air Show provided a platform for Teledyne FLIR Defence to meets its customers and understand their future needs, as well as show case their latest products that can help meet those demands.

The show was very successful for the company, according to Frachey: “We have been very busy, it went well over our expectations. We brought some technologies here this year and when our customers saw the demos they were really impressed with the new features in our technology, and this is very important for us.”

Products on show

Products on show included the Star SAFIRE 380X-HD imaging system, the UltraFORCE 275-HD imaging sensor, and the SkyRanger R70 unmanned air system.

Ketil Vanebo, Senior Director, Business Development Europe, “For Teledyne FLIR Defence and Unmanned Systems, we have drones with a variety of payloads such as CBRN, electro-optical, thermal and other military gimbals. And that is just one part of our unmanned solutions. We have smaller drones like the Black Hornet which is one of the world’s unique UAVs at 33 grams, and our portfolio also contains unmanned ground robots for other applications on the ground.”
