At Paris Air Show this week, Textron Systems introduced the Nightwarden tactical unmanned aircraft system (TUAS), building on the company’s Shadow M2. We talked to Bill Irby, Unmanned Systems Senior Vice President, about the new “next-generation” capabilities.

For example, he notes that the Nightwarden offers greater flexibility and combat capability, beyond-line-of-sight satellite communications features, as well as enhanced command-and-control through Synturian, Textron Systems’ new family of multi-domain control and collaboration technologies.
