Tarmac Aerosave has signed two contracts with Safran group to support their engine programme.

The first, signed at the MRO Europe show in Amsterdam, was a renewal of a contract signed with Safran Aircraft Engines in 2018, covering engine light maintenance and dismantling services.

The second agreement, signed with Safran Nacelles, concerns engine nacelle removal, reinstallation and recycling services.

This covers partial or complete dismantling services for CFM56 engines, including inventory, packing, packaging and logistics management.

The partnership contract runs until 31 December 2028.

Tarmac Aerosave

For TARMAC Aerosave, the 2023 MRO show is an opportunity to consolidate its capabilities in the “quick turn” operations sector, thanks in particular to its new engine workshop, which opened in 2022.

Tarmac Aerosave is also contributing its expertise in end-of-life management of aircraft parts. This close collaboration with Safran Nacelles will make it possible to identify materials as effectively as possible, optimise recycling and thus contribute to the eco-design of future nacelles.

This will contribute to the objectives of improving the recovery rate when recycling an engine.
