The Saudi Arabian General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has signed several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and agreements of cooperation during the Saudi-Brazilian International Aviation Conference.

GACA signed an agreement for air connectivity services with the Civil Aviation Council of the Dominican Republic, and MoUs for air transport services with the Republic of Suriname and the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Costa Rica.

An MoU for cooperation in the field of civil aviation was also announced with the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Brazil, which will update the regulatory framework for air connectivity between the Kingdom and Brazil.

Going further together

Under the theme ‘Going Further Together’, the conference saw several discussions to build strategic mutual partnerships to expand and strengthen cooperation with the Federal Republic of Brazil represented by the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), which hosted the event.

Through its participation, the Saudi delegation highlighted the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of aviation, its support for air connectivity with Latin America by addressing the opportunities available in the sector to enhance air travel services and agreements, and enhancing economic cooperation between the Kingdom and Latin American countries.
