Safran Nacelles signed today a 10-year service contract with Viva Air Colombia for the nacelles of their growing fleet of A320neo aircraft powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines.
Viva Air Colombia will have access to Safran Nacelles’ global stock of spare engine nacelles that equip the airline’s growing fleet of Airbus A320neo family jetliners. The Colombian airline will also benefit from OEM guaranteed maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions at repair stations.
“We are pleased to support Viva Air Colombia in its A320neo maintenance operations” commented Alain Berger, Safran Executive Vice President – Customer Support & Services. “They can count on Safran Nacelles teams, particularly those at the Indianapolis, USA repair shop, who are fully mobilized to support Viva Air Colombia on a daily basis.”
Jhon Luna, Director of Maintenance & Engineering: “Our young A320neo fleet needs all the support and expertise of an OEM like Safran Nacelles to keep our aircraft in operation with the highest level of quality and to carry out the necessary repairs in the shortest possible time.”
