PAL Aerospace LLC’s Force Multiplier programme delivers self-sufficient, mission-ready aircraft for complex maritime surveillance anywhere in the world.

PAL Aerospace LLC, a joint venture between Canada and the UAE, carries out aircraft modification integration, maintenance, logistics support and training for special mission aircraft and operates intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft.

Situational awareness offered from hourly to long-lease basis

The technology is used in the UAE Air Force and military, but the company is exporting the capability to the rest of the world. The Force Multiplier gives clients situational awareness with aircraft which are available with a complete crew complement and integral maintenance capability on an hourly, monthly or long-term leased basis. The programme alleviates the costs and logistical burdens of adopting surveillance and reconnaissance capability for any length of time.

PAL Aerospace LLC Business Development and Marketing Manager Aiham Alkhatib explained: “It’s an on demand ISR aircraft so intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance. We have since been doing deployments and operations in different parts of the world. And so far this innovation has been a successful start for us with this invention.”

The company also has plans to support other aircraft platforms in the region. “Well, the exciting news for us is we are setting up a spare parts distribution centre in the UAE to support various platforms, some of which are the Twin Otter, Dash-8s and other platforms to start servicing the UAE market as well as the region.”
