LOT Polish Airlines is to lease three new Embraer E195-E2s from Azorra, scheduled to be delivered between July and October 2024; bringing the Polish flag carrier’s total fleet of E-jets to 43. The new aircraft will be configured in a single class layout with 136 seats.

“This strategic enhancement to our fleet not only marks our continued commitment to sustainable aviation but also celebrates our partnership with Embraer since the introduction of the first E-Jet in 2024,” said Michał Fijoł, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines. (The airline was the first operator of the brand new E-Jet in 2004).

“LOT’s first move into the E2 is an important moment for Embraer,” added Arjan Meiker, president and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation. “We’re celebrating LOT’s first E2s, the 20th anniversary of the E-Jet programme, and our 25 year relationship.”

To date, LOT’s E-jet fleet has flown over 850 million kilometres over 1.4 million flight hours and carried more than 60 million passengers. In October 2023, the airline announced its plans to expand its fleet by around 50% (a total of 110 aircraft in 2028).
