Jordan-based Joramco is first MRO in Middle East and North Africa to become certified to EN9110 standard

Joramco, the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), has announced that it has obtained the EN 9110 certification.

The Amman-based MRO has become the first independent MRO in the MENA region to receive the EN9110:2018 certification, becoming part of an elite group of MROs certified to this standard in the world. MROs that are in compliance with the EN9110 standard demonstrate that they can meet the requirements of theircustomers and any applicable regulatory bodies through the documented implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) that specifically addresses the needs of the industry.

Certification will enable company growth

Joramco CEO Jeff Wilkinson said: “Joramco is committed to providing world class MRO services to its customers worldwide, which requires us to consistently improve our Quality Management System. This certification enables Joramco to grow in terms of efficiency, productivity and competence, as well as gaining recognition by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG)”

Joramco has more than 50 years of experience as a leading commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul facility serving a wide range of customers in the Middle East, Europe, South Asia, Africa, Russia and the CIS countries, offering services on several aircraft models from the Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer fleets.
