Embraer saw a 30% increase in aircraft deliveries in the third quarter of 2023 and a 33% rise on year-to-date (YTD) aircraft deliveries.

The company’s latest financial results show it delivered 43 jets in Q3 and 105 YTD compared to 79 during the same period in 2022.

Revenues for the company reached $1,284m – a rise of 38% compared to the same quarter in 2022 – and all business units had higher revenue and volumes year on year (YoY) and YTD.

Commercial aviation represented the strongest growth at 68% YoY to $424.9m. Defense and security revenue rose by 40% to $133.1m; executive aviation increased by 25% to $339.9m; and services and support grew by 24% to $365.8m.

Embraer’s backlog ended Q3 2023 at $17.8bn, with commercial aviation backlog rising from $8bn to $8.6bn with 42 aircraft sold this year.

Services and support reached $2.8bn in Q3, the highest volume ever recorded in the business unit, while the executive aviation backlog was $4.3bn.
