EasyJet launched its summer onboard charity collection to help raise funds to support UNICEF’s education appeal and ensure every child has the right to learn.

Customers flying during the next seven weeks will be able to donate onboard.

EasyJet and UNICEF Change for Good partnership

EasyJet and UNICEF partnered to launch their Change for Good partnership in 2012. Since then, easyJet’s customers and crew have raised almost £17m in onboard donations, helping to protect millions of children around the world from disease and keep them safe during emergencies.

It includes raising over £400,000 for children and their families affected by the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, which has provided vital funds for UNICEF’s work in the region to protect the safety, health and welfare of children.

UNICEF’s Ukraine response in 2022

EasyJet’s customers and crew also raised a record-breaking £616,000 in a single month for UNICEF’s Ukraine charity response in 2022, as well as over £2m for UNICEF’s Education in Emergencies appeal during summer 2008 and summer 2019.

Millions of easyJet customers flying across 35 countries this summer will now be able to donate onboard in any currency, helping UNICEF meet the ongoing needs of these children. easyJet cabin crew are now running the collection onboard all flights until 2nd September 2023.
