FINN presenter Pips Taylor took a walks around the UK Pavilion at the Dubai Airshow to meet some of the exhibitors.


QinetiQ were at Dubai to showcase their joint ventures both in Saudi Arabia and as part of Houbara. Houbara is a joint Venture between Middle East General Enterprises (MGE) and QinetiQ. The company uses technology to develop sovereign defence capabilities and unmanned systems integrations, advancing the national interests of the United Arab Emirates.


Lomas manufactures approved specialist tools for both the aerospace sector and MRO applications.

Although the has spent 40 years servicing the industry, it was exhibiting its tools for customers to touch, feel and understand for the first time.


Euravia is a specialist aviation company providing high quality, cost effective maintenance, repair and overhaul services for a range of gas turbines. The company was a first time exhibitor at Dubai Airshow 2019, but has had a strong presence in the Middle East for 10 years. Euravia’s strategy is to grow its engine and fleet support services in the Middle East by partnering with new customers and suppliers.
