BAE Systems has confirmed its participation at the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2024.

The agreement was signed during World Defence Show 2024 by Yousif Mahmoud, Director General of the Bahrain International Airshow and Steve Kelly, Regional Managing Director – Middle East, Turkey and North Africa for BAE Systems.

Employing a skilled workforce of more than 93,000 people in 40 countries, BAE Systems is one of the largest global defence companies and continues to invest in its relationships with the Gulf region.

This agreement determines that the bilateral partnership (initiated at the first edition of BIAS in 2010), will continue to drive a progressive and collaborative agenda into the future and see BAE Systems showcase their latest technology advancements at the show.

Discussing the latest agreement between BIAS and BAE Systems, Yousif Mahmoud, Director General of the Bahrain International Airshow, said: “After an incredibly fruitful partnership, we are extremely proud to be welcoming Steve and his team at BAE Systems to our flourishing airshow once again.

“With the growing relationship between Bahrain and the UK flourishing, we are excited to be cementing our partnership with British organisations, such as BAE, across the sector. With increasing support from the world’s leading aerospace and defence firms BIAS 2024 is set to be our most influential airshow yet.”

Organised by the Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force in association with Farnborough International, BIAS has been designed to reflect aerospace and defence industry demands and will harness global expertise to provide crucial thought leadership and insight.
