Aer Lingus has launched a new recruitment drive aimed at hiring 18 Cabin Crew based in Manchester in partnership with Nobox recruitment.

These job opportunities are designed to attract a diverse group of people, reflecting Aer Lingus’s commitment to expanding and diversifying its workforce in its Manchester operation.

An assessment day will take place at The Sky People Academy in Manchester on 10 January to ascertain suitability for the role which will be followed by a virtual interview.

Successful candidates will then undergo a comprehensive Cabin Crew training programme at the Sky People Training Academy beginning in March 2024 . The training programme will cover all aspects of the role, including safety procedures, customer service, and emergency situations.

The comprehensive programme provides candidates with training for both short-haul routes operated by Airbus A320 aircraft and long-haul flights with training on Airbus A321neos, one of the most sustainable aircraft crossing the Atlantic.

Successful candidates will undertake a wide range of theoretical and practical components, health and safety procedures and customer-experience training.

Many Cabin Crew make long term at the Irish flag carrier and progress to other roles within the airline, such as Senior Cabin Crew member, Cabin Service Manager, Safety/SEP Instructor, Service Instructor, and Operations Crew Manager.
