The UK’s Department of Transport has published a consultation document on the future of UK aviation.

The Aviation 2050 document details the consultation on the specific policy proposals for inclusion in the final aviation strategy.

Themes include improving the UK’s connectivity; sustainable growth; regional growth; enhanced passenger experience; safety and security; and capitalising on innovation and new technology.

Priorities

Key areas for input include aviation strategy priorities; regulatory and financial implications of changes; passenger consultation; and more.

The consultation period runs until 11 April 2019. A final version of the aviation strategy will then be published by the middle of 2019, the government says.
