Damping and protecting specialist Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is helping the UAM sector accelerate towards lift off with an engineering sponsorship programme.

The company offers sponsorship projects within its area of expertise in sealing, damping and protecting. The engineering programme relates to composite and polymer components and can cover development costs, FEA support, tooling and prototypes.

Trelleborg has developed its polymer expertise for more than a century across various industries including aerospace, automotive and eMobility applications. Using cross sector expertise, the company can offer proven solutions for the whole vehicle; from the energy management systems, propulsion, controls and actuation to the airframe, structure, cabin and interior.

Trelleborg engineers work in collaboration with customers, utilising state-of-the-art facilities and drawing on decades of expertise to develop seal designs and material formulations for challenging applications. Trelleborg’s in-house product and material testing facilities support the development of advanced sealing technology.
