Developing stronger relationships with leading OEM and Primes requires long term planning and commitment.

On time delivery and zero quality defects is an expected “given” from all business in the Aerospace and Defence supply chain.

To stand out from the crowd, pursuing an industry recognised continuous improvement programme is essential in improving credibility and business opportunities.

In this webinar we introduce Supply Chains for the 21st Century (SC21), the largest improvement programme in the aerospace and defence sectors. Led by ADS, it is endorsed by BEIS, AGP and all major UK aerospace and defence companies. The programme offers three routes including Lite, Operational Excellence (OE) and Competitiveness and Growth (C&G).

SC21 Improvement Programmes – Planning for success
Launched over 13 years ago, Supply Chains for the 21st Century (SC21) is an improvement programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. A proven model, it provides a simple standard improvement framework which defines performance goals and standardizes the approach and tools for continuous sustainable improvement. The programme has also been endorsed as part of the Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP)’s Competitiveness Charter.

SC21 Operational Excellence (OE) offers an accreditation of bronze, silver and gold.

In 2019, SC21 launched the SC21 Competitiveness & Growth (C&G) programme. This was the focus of a recent webinar.
