The event – from July 13-15 2021 – is the world’s only major digital trade event for the aerospace and defence industries. The free-to-attend online event marks the second in a series developed by Farnborough International to bridge the gap between biennial Farnborough International Airshows – the next of which has been confirmed to take place in July 2022.

FIA Connect 2021 brings together three days of insight, debate and discussion from thoughtleaders and innovators from across industry, the government and academia, as well as facilitating business connections.

This year’s agenda will include sessions such as:

• Sustainability: engineering the propulsion of the future
• The roadmap to returning to the skies – the future of air travel
• Future battle space: next generation defence; defence in a competitive age
• We are in this together – collaborating as an industry for a more diverse future

The launch of FIA Connect in 2020 saw more than 250 senior executives, academics, and politicians joined by 14,000 delegates from 97 countries. The conference programme included contributions from the CEOs of Airbus, Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, Meggitt and Emirates among many others. The event was broadcast by FINN – the Farnborough International News Network.
