FINN Sessions will return to Farnborough International Airshow in 2022 to provide a forum to share and discuss the major trends affecting the aerospace industry today and in the future.

On-floor theatres will host thought provoking talks, panel discussions, seminars and keynote speakers providing all visitors to the show the opportunity to challenge and interact with industry leaders.

The inaugural FINN Sessions took place at FIA2018 and were met with an overwhelmingly positive response.

‘Sustainable Propulsion’

On Monday 18 July 2022, a FINN Session titled ‘Sustainable Propulsion’ will be held from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM.

Sean Bradshaw, Technical Fellow of Sustainable Propulsion, Pratt & Whitney, will explain how smarter technologies and cleaner fuels will enable aviation’s pathway to Net Zero.

Continual improvement in aircraft engine efficiency, combined with advancing the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), will be key to reaching the ambitious goal by 2050.

Learn more about how Pratt & Whitney plans to harness the potential of hybrid-electric propulsion, as well as hydrogen fuel, to make aviation more sustainable.

The Session will be hosted in FINN 4: Hall 4.
