FINN Sessions will return to Farnborough International Airshow in 2022 to provide a forum to share and discuss the major trends affecting the aerospace industry today and in the future.

On-floor theatres will host thought provoking talks, panel discussions, seminars and keynote speakers providing all visitors to the show the opportunity to challenge and interact with industry leaders.

The inaugural FINN Sessions took place at FIA2018 and were met with an overwhelmingly positive response.

‘AGF Unpack: Delivering the Third Aviation Revolution’

On Monday 18 July 2022, a FINN Session titled ‘AGF Unpack: Delivering the Third Aviation Revolution’ will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:20 PM.

From drones delivering medical supplies to pop-up airports and advancements in air mobility vehicle design, the third aviation revolution is transforming our land and skies. Advancements in electrification, regulation and autonomy are radically modernising how aviation sustainably connects people, delivers goods and provides services across the globe.

In the UK, the £300 million Future Flight Challenge from UK Research and Innovation, is accelerating the development of new technologies, social insight and advanced aviation solutions. It’s ambitious world-leading approach is being adopted internationally and continues to attract global partners. This session will reveal new Future Flight projects and pioneering plans to deliver the third aviation revolution first in the UK.

Moderator Gary Cutts, Challenge Director – Future Flight, UKRI, will be joined by speakers: JoeBen Bervit, CEO, Joby; André Stein, CEO, Eve; Ricky Sandhu, Founder & Executive Chairman, Urban-Air Port; Stephen Fitzpatrick, CEO, Vertical; Mike Whitaker, CCO, Supernal.

The Session will be hosted in FINN 4: Hall 4.
