Smart Networking and the launch of the inaugural Aerospace Global Forum will mark the return of the Farnborough International Airshow from July 18-22, 2022.

Following the challenges of the last two years within the industry, the event will promise unrivalled in-person networking and insight-generating opportunities to support post-Covid recovery and reconnection of industry leaders from around the world.

The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) 2018 saw deals worth $192 billion made. The 2022 airshow will be unveiling a new global initiative – the inaugural Aerospace Global Forum. The platform will provide global leaders with the opportunity to gather, discuss and interrogate major issues impacting the world through a focus on aerospace and drive positive change. More details on the Aerospace Global Forum and the programme will be announced in early 2022.

Smart Networking opportunities and a new Space Zone

The event will also see the expansion of FIA’s Smart Networking opportunities, evolution of turnkey chalets and a new Space Zone, utilising two brand-new 22,000 sq ft sound stages built on the grounds of Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre.

Conversations taking place at the event will be steered towards six core themes pertinent to the aerospace, aviation and defence industries, focusing on the future of the industry, sustainability, aerospace and defence thought leadership, space, future workforce and air travel.

Farnborough will be the first truly international opportunity to witness the leaps in development within the industries that have taken place, as well as showcasing innovation to a global face-face audience. The event will be attended by industry primes including BAE Systems, Boeing, Rolls-Royce and Raytheon Technologies.
