Farnborough International Air Show 2018 sneak peek

We talked to Amanda Stainer, Commercial Director, Farnborough International Air Show (FIA), about what’s hot at next year’s show (16-22 July 2018).

The latest additions to the event include a brand new exhibition hall one, interactive theatres and content-driven conference sessions. At Paris Airshow in June, FIA also announced that Boom will be exhibiting and delivering a keynote presentation on progress towards making supersonic passenger travel a reality once again.

Aerospace 4.0

The focus for FIA 2018 is aerospace 4.0. Stainer says, “We’re going to be featuring all sorts of products including robotics, cybersecurity, data analytics and more.”

The show will also see a bigger presence in business aviation, space and cargo sectors – with an expansion of the Cargo Village, for example. It will feature continued coverage of commercial aviation, defence, rotary and MRO.

FINN at FIA 2018

At the 2018 FIA show, the FINN team will be on-site broadcasting live updates, interviews with industry leaders and daily round-ups. We’ll also be launching the FINN Sessions – a brand new conference programme. Watch this space.
