Flight training school Club Aéreo Capecar, based in Santiago, Chile, has purchased the first reconfigurable simulator en-1000x on the continent from Entrol, in collaboration with Proflight S.L.

The simulator will be installed at Club Aéreo Capecar’s premises in Santigo. It will be certified as an AATD for SEP and MEP purposes by the DGAC, joining the long list of Entrol-certified devices. Delivery will be in spring 2023.

The unit will be equipped with SEP Complex G1000 and MEP G1000 configurations, a Cylindrical Visual System with a FOV of 200ºx40º and a customised database, including most of the main Chilean operating areas.

Advanced flight training device

“After many years working with Club Aéreo Capecar, they asked for a better and more advanced flight training device, according to today’s standards. I immediately offered them an En-1000x with the custom G1000 replica, which completely fulfilled their needs. After I showed them the simulator, they were charmed by the idea, and all a simulator could offer, so it turned into a matter of few months to finally complete the purchase,” said Jose Miguel Silva Alessandri, founder of Proflight S.L.

Eduardo Pradel Escala, Flight School Manager for Club Aéreo Capecar, added: “the simulator has exceeded the expectancies it had at the start of the project. The realism is incredibly high; we were astonished by the quality of the device. We are completely convinced that this simulator will improve our training at Club Aéreo Capecar.”
