CAE has announced the introduction of the CAE Women in Flight scholarship programme, demonstrating its commitment to promoting the advancement of women in the aviation industry.

The CAE Women in Flight programme encourages passionate and exceptional women to accomplish their goal of becoming professional pilots. CAE will provide financial support to aspiring female pilots by awarding up to five full scholarships to one of CAE’s cadet pilot training programmes across its global training network. The objective of the programme to elevate selected candidates to become aviation role models and inspire even more women to join the pilot profession.

Less than 5 per cent of pilots and instructors are women

As the leading training organisation in the world, we are very proud to introduce the CAE Women in Flight scholarship programme, acting towards achieving greater diversity and a better gender balance.”

He added: “By leveraging our global training network and our relationships with operators, CAE can provide aspiring female pilots direct access to our numerous active pilot creation programmes around the world, facilitating their journey to the cockpit. CAE is committed to promoting the pilot career to women, and making it accessible to exceptional women who may not have the financial means to make their dream a reality.”
