AOSSCI’s X-Hawk is a pure-electric UAS (unammed aerial system), with vertical take-off and landing. X-Hawk does not require an airport or runway, meaning it can be used in many industries and scenarios, including security, mapping and environmental protection.

The whole process is controlled by the intelligent flight control system. Soon, this system will be released as open source for other companies to use, Yangyang Sun, Marketing Director, AOSSCI, told us in a recent interview.

Sun commented: “Innovation is key for new technologies, not only for China but for every country. In China, like in America, we have a lot of policies to support innovation and [start-up] companies.”

He added: “Innovation means the future.”
