In an emergency, every second counts. Aerolite offers a product that cuts vital seconds off getting a badly injured patient into hospital. Michael McKenzie, Aerolite, explained more about the rolling platform.

McKenzie explained: “This is a rolling platform for an EC145, specifically for the T2. The main feature of this platform is the stretcher bridge, which is certified for take-off, landing and flight. This means that as the patient is loaded into the aircraft, the medical devices can be installed on top of the pack rack. When you arrive at the hospital, it’s one movement straight into the hospital. So this saves time.”

“It’s a swift, single process.”

The company has customers in England, Scotland and Japan.
